Our Estate Viognier was planted in 1983 and became certified organic in 2006. These thick, older vines toil for nutrients atop Bradford Mountain in Dry Creek Valley and produce a rich and complex Viognier.
Tasting Notes
Tropical bouquet; bright acidity on the palate; fresh citrus and apple; soft hints of vanilla but very subtle; long finish. Hawley signature Viognier!
Production Notes
Less than 260c produced!
Winemaker Notes
Organically grown; stainless steel fermented at cool temperatures to preserve the natural fruit profile; racked into neutral French oak barrels before bottling in March 2018. This wine was featured as a Futures release in March 2018.
